Cummins to showcase new engines and axles at Fenatran 2026
Cummins is preparing to present new engine and axle solutions at the Fenatran 2026 exhibition in São Paulo. The company is focusing on increasing fuel efficiency, reducing consumption, and expanding load capacity for the Brazilian market.
Key technological updates include the new generation F4.5 engine, which offers up to 240 cv—a 14% increase in maximum power over the previous version—and an estimated 9% reduction in fuel consumption. The F3.0 engine, providing up to 200 cv and 620 Nm of torque, is being introduced to enhance performance and operational costs for light commercial vehicles. The F4.5 configuration has also been adapted for compatibility with B20 biodiesel.
Additionally, Cummins is introducing a new generation of the Single Module post-treatment system for F3.8 and F4.5 engines. This system is 30% lighter, 5% smaller, and 2% more efficient than its predecessor. The company is also highlighting its UL2.2 urea dosing technology, designed to improve emission control while reducing integration costs.
