Cuneo Volley and Cannes Volley Ball to face off in Alassio

Cuneo Volley and Cannes Volley Ball will face each other in an international test match on Saturday, September 19, at the Palaravizza in Alassio. The match serves as the opening event for the 34th Memorial Dado Tessitore and is held in conjunction with the 42nd Sanremo Cup.

Both teams are using the match to evaluate their form and new rosters ahead of their respective league starts—the SuperLega for Cuneo and the French Ligue A for Cannes. Notable players for Cuneo include American Ethan Champlin, italo-cuban setter Bryan Argilagos, and 2022 world champion Leandro Mosca. Cannes features players such as Feral, Strehlau, and Loubeyre, and will be led from the bench by Brazilian coach Joao Bravo.

The match will not conflict with the Italian national team's European Championship schedule, as the Italians are set to play in Turin on September 20 or 21. The event will also include rhythmic gymnastics performances by local athletes from Asd Move Up during intervals.
