CUPRA launches Raval, Spain's first fully electric car, and confirms Formula E participation

Spanish automaker CUPRA unveiled the Raval, a fully electric compact SUV built entirely in Martorell. The model offers a 441‑kilometre range, 226 hp, a lowered chassis, 19‑inch wheels and an Android‑based infotainment system. Its design draws inspiration from Barcelona's Raval neighbourhood and the brand promoted the launch with local artists and football players.

CUPRA also announced it will remain in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship through a partnership with KIRO. The team will run under the new GEN4 regulations using a Porsche 975 RSE powertrain and will feature drivers Dan Ticktum and Pepe Martí, with a debut of the new livery at Goodwood.

Both moves underline CUPRA's strategy to expand its electric vehicle lineup and maintain a presence in electric motorsport.
