Centro de Controle de Zoonoses relocates services during headquarters renovation in Brazil
The Centro de Controle de Zoonoses (CCZ), part of the municipal Health Secretariat, will temporarily move a portion of its services while its headquarters undergoes renovation. Starting Monday, July 13, administrative, veterinary outpatient care and rabies vaccination will be provided at Rua Osvaldo Pessoa, 552, in the Jaguaribe neighbourhood. The director, Gabriela Azevedo, said the move is planned to ensure uninterrupted assistance and to deliver a more modern, safe facility after the works.
The surgical block will continue operating at the existing site on Rua Walfredo Macedo Brandão, 100, in the Bancários neighbourhood, where dog and cat neutering, leishmaniasis testing and other zoonosis-related examinations will remain available. Both locations will be open Monday to Friday, 8 am–12 pm and 1 pm–5 pm, and can be reached at 3213‑7635 or 3213‑7805.
