Curvelo expands municipal emergency care facility
The City of Curvelo has completed a new phase of renovations and expansions at the Dr. Márcio de Carvalho Lopes Municipal Emergency Care unit. The project, managed by the Municipal Health Secretariat, includes the delivery of 21 internal environments, such as consultation rooms, a pharmacy, collective inhalation areas, and three isolation rooms equipped with private bathrooms.
The improvements aim to enhance patient privacy, sanitary safety, and working conditions for healthcare professionals. Funding for the modernization was provided through reparation agreements with Vale following the Brumadinho dam failure.
