Cyberpunk: Mercenários 2 set to premiere on Netflix

The second season of the anime ‘Cyberpunk: Mercenários’ is set to premiere on Netflix on October 20. Based on the universe of the video game Cyberpunk 2077 developed by CD Projekt Red, the new season returns to Night City with an entirely new cast of characters and a fresh narrative.

Unlike the first season, the new installment does not explicitly mention previous events, opting for a standalone story. Key characters introduced include Roman, a young boy with a passion for filming life in the city, and King, a powerful figure who struggles with cyberpsychosis, a condition that causes him to lose control and see hallucinations.

The production aims to explore how the dystopian environment and advanced technology influence the lives of its inhabitants, offering a different tone and direction from the previous season.
