Cycling competitions Brasil Ride and Giro d’Italia arrive in Pirenópolis and São Paulo

Major cycling and mountain bike competitions are taking place across Brazil this weekend. The Brasil Ride event is being held in Pirenópolis, Goiás, from August 21 to 23. The competition features various categories, including MTB Pro, E-Bike Pro, and MTB Sport, with professional and amateur athletes participating in routes reaching up to 70 kilometers.

Simultaneously, the Giro d’Italia Ride Like a Pro Brasil is making its debut in São Paulo on August 23. The 65-kilometer course will pass through several major landmarks in the capital, including the Memorial da América Latina, Pacaembu Stadium, and the Ipiranga Museum. The event is expected to draw more than 5,000 cyclists.

Both events are supported by Mitsubishi Motors, which is providing sponsorship and recovery spaces for athletes.
