Cyclist killed in fatal traffic accident in Siófok

A fatal traffic accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Siófok, Hungary, resulting in the death of a middle-aged cyclist. According to the Somogy County Police Headquarters, the incident took place on Batthyány Street when a passenger car struck a cyclist traveling parallel to the vehicle.

Following the collision, the car veered off the road and overturned. While the cyclist died at the scene, four occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious and were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities have launched an official investigation into the incident for causing a fatal road accident to determine the exact circumstances that led to the collision.
