Cyklohráček launches 14 summer tourist train trips across Central and South Bohemia
From 7 July to 20 August 2026, Czech Railways' family‑focused tourist train Cyklohráček will run 14 special day trips each Tuesday and Thursday. The programme adds new destinations such as Tábor, Písek, Kutná Hora and Libochovice, while continuing visits to existing sites in the Central Bohemian region.
All journeys use the regular PID, ČD or OneTicket fare – no special ticket or seat reservation is required. Onboard, passengers can enjoy games, competitions, a “children’s ticket” stamp, a play‑carriage, a balloon carriage and a dedicated bike‑transport carriage. Selected services will include an extra carriage to increase capacity. The expanded network is enabled by the integration of the PID and IDESKA transport systems, which simplifies travel between the Central and South Bohemian regions.
The summer trips are organized by ROPID and IDESKA on behalf of Prague and the Central Bohemian Region, extending the regular weekend Cyklohráček service that has operated for thirteen seasons from Prague to Slaný.
