Cyprus court hears defense in three-year-old's death case

During court proceedings regarding the death of a three-year-old boy, defense lawyer Alexandros Alexandrou argued that the incident occurred suddenly and without warning. The defense maintains that the 37-year-old British father was in a state of joy and playing with his child when the tragedy unfolded.

According to the defense, the father was unaware of the proximity of an open window during their play. The lawyer emphasized that the events transpired in seconds, leaving no time for a conscious reaction or to perceive the danger. It was also noted that the child's grandfather was present at the time and, similarly, did not perceive any immediate risk regarding the window.
