Cyprus House of Representatives republishes MPs' asset declarations

The House of Representatives in Cyprus has republished the 2026 asset declarations for its members following a temporary removal from the official website. The initial removal occurred because segments of the statements that were not legally required to be public were inadvertently posted.

As of Wednesday afternoon, declarations for 53 of the 56 Members of Parliament had been uploaded, with three members still pending. All former, newly elected, and re-elected members have submitted their required personal and professional wealth statements.

Among the published details, Speaker of the House and DISY President Annita Demetriou reported a total net worth of €239,550, including real estate, a vehicle, and bank deposits, offset by four loans. AKEL General Secretary Stefanos Stefanou reported real estate valued at €140,035, shares in Demetra Holdings, and various bank deposits.
