Cyril Féraud becomes new Fort Boyard host as Olivier Minne moves to Le Meilleur Pâtissier

French television presenter Cyril Féraud, 41, has been appointed the new host of the adventure game show Fort Boyard, succeeding Olivier Minne after more than two decades. Filming of the upcoming season began, with Féraud sharing a behind‑the‑scenes photo on Instagram featuring a snake perched on one of the fort’s tiger statues.

At the same time, Olivier Minne announced his departure from France Télévisions. He will join M6 to present the cooking competition Le Meilleur Pâtissier, taking over from Laëtitia Milot. Minne described the move as a new chapter focused on culinary entertainment, highlighting his enthusiasm for joining the show's team of judges.

Minne’s earlier decision to leave Paris and shift away from traditional studio projects reflects a broader career reorientation toward greater creative freedom and international collaborations, while Féraud’s takeover marks a generational change for the long‑running program.
