Cyril Féraud leads Fort Boyard revamp

Entities: Fort Boyard · Camille Cerf · Hinaupoko Devèze · France Télévisions · Cyril Féraud

Overview

The 37th season of Fort Boyard began on 4 July 2026 on France 2 with Cyril Féraud replacing Olivier Minne as host. The revamp introduced new collective challenges – a 25‑metre bike jump, a sliding‑staircase test, a Salle d’armes and an Escalier glissant – and added the Admiral as an on‑screen figure. For the first time, members of the public competed alongside celebrities, with proceeds earmarked for charities.

Episode 2 (11 July) raised €16 750 for Le Projet Moteur, while a special 18 July episode hosted by Jérémy Frérot set a record €23 800 for the Surfrider Foundation Europe. On 25 July, a dual‑charity format paired the SPA with “Tout le monde contre le cancer”. The season caps each team’s prize at €50 000.

The debut episode on 1 August attracted a record 2.75 million viewers. That night’s team – Camille Cerf, Miss France 2026 Hinaupoko Devèze, Philippe Risoli, internet personalities Baghera and Mahaut Drama, and an anonymous contestant Laila – played for Les Bonnes Fées, securing €7 400 in the treasure room and bringing the charity’s total to €16 880.

Early season totals stand at €13 885 for ONU Femmes France, €16 750 for Projet Moteur, €23 800 for the Surfrider Foundation Europe and €16 880 for Les Bonnes Fées. France Télévisions frames the changes as a way to boost charitable impact while preserving the show’s classic adventure spirit.

Separately, the Fondation du patrimoine and Charente‑Maritime department’s donation‑driven contest has raised over €495 000 for restoration work aimed at regular public access by 2028.
