Czech delivery services Zásilkovna and PPL introduce new customer features
Czech delivery companies Zásilkovna and PPL are implementing new service changes to improve flexibility for customers.
Zásilkovna has introduced a feature allowing recipients to redirect a shipment to a different delivery location or Z-BOX once per order. This request is subject to sender approval and may be declined by the company or result in longer delivery times. Additionally, individual entrepreneurs can now have shipments received by third parties, such as receptions, warehouses, or mailrooms, provided they supply a signature and company stamp.
PPL is extending the storage duration for shipments in its pickup points. Customers can use the PPL app to extend storage by two, four, or six days for a fee, with regular users able to utilize PPL points for these services.
Meanwhile, Czech Post's Balíkovna service is set to implement a new price list in November, which will include price increases for shipments sent to addresses and certain parcel sizes, though some discounts for high-volume e-shop operators will also be introduced.
