Czech football clubs Slavie Karlovy Vary and Koryčany finish seasons amid disappointment

The women’s team of TJ Slavia Karlovy Vary lost 6-4 to TJ Sokol Pičín in their final match, ending any chance of promotion to the third tier. Injuries left the squad with just ten players for much of the game, and coach Michael Soldán said the reduced roster cost the team a higher finish.

In the men’s 7th‑league, coach Jaroslav Hastík departed FC Koryčany after three seasons. The club finished near the bottom of Group C without a medal, and Hastík criticised the regional football association after receiving a two‑match ban that prevented him from managing the decisive fixture against Lubná.

Both clubs concluded their campaigns with unresolved ambitions and highlighted ongoing challenges in Czech lower‑division football.
