Czech regional football leagues see draws and wins as clubs battle for points
In the 27th round of the Czech 5th league, Jičín held Slavie Hradec Králové to a goalless draw, while Slavie, already crowned champions, missed three clear chances. Jičín coach Jiří Filip praised his side for staying on the pitch, and Slavie coach Jiří Suchomel noted the missed opportunities. In a separate 5th‑league match, Železnice fell 1‑3 at home to Týniště nad Orlicí, with Týniště’s Jirka Paděra scoring twice.
Meanwhile, the 7th‑league Group B races continued with several teams securing vital points. Kunčina clinched a win on its tenth attempt, and FC Jiskra 2008, Žichlínek and Hradec also recorded victories. Tatenice retained its dominance, while Třebařov suffered a heavy loss that left it near the bottom of the table. The weekend’s results kept the relegation battle alive for multiple clubs.
