Czech regional football weekend: Olešník wins second place, Chotěbor secures safety

Olešník defeated Třeboň in a direct contest to claim second place in the latest round of adult Czech football league matches. The result was part of the spring round that covered fixtures from the lowest tiers up to the Czech Football League.

In the Havlíčkobrodský district, newcomer Chotěbor earned safety from relegation by beating favored Kuřim 1‑0 on home ground, with the winning goal scored four minutes before the final whistle by substitute Kasal. The victory gave Chotěbor a guaranteed place in the league with two rounds remaining. Other notable outcomes included Ždírec nad Doubravou's 1‑4 loss to Artis Brno, and several draws that affected teams fighting for promotion or avoiding relegation across various regional divisions.
