Czech regions overhaul bus routes in Mělník and Třebíč

From 27 June, the Prague Integrated Transport (PID) will implement new timetables and stop changes on four bus lines serving the Mělník area. The most extensive revision affects line 663 between Kralupy nad Vltavou and Odolena Voda, adding stops at Kozomín, Úžice and a logistics centre, and shifting departure times earlier by five to thirty minutes. Other adjustments include the removal of the Mělník stop on lines 668 and 695, and a reshuffling of stops on line 693.

In Třebíč, municipal authorities will launch a trial night bus service, line 91a, beginning 29 June. The route runs from the railway station through several residential districts and returns to the station, providing connections to the last regional train from Brno arriving just before midnight. Buses will operate nightly, with departure times around 00:04 and return trips in the early‑morning hours. The night service will be evaluated over the summer, and additional daytime route changes are planned for lines 10, 12, 14, 31 and others.

Both towns aim to improve public‑transport links to rail stations and adjust services to better match passenger demand.
