Czech Republic to Experience Tropical Heat as Temperatures Surge Above 30°C

The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute forecasts a shift from early‑week rain and cloudiness to increasingly sunny conditions, with daytime highs rising to 30‑31 °C and occasional tropical‑heat days expected by mid‑week. A high‑pressure ridge from the Atlantic is set to bring clearer skies and warmer temperatures, while the weekend should see mostly bright weather and only isolated showers.

In neighboring Slovenia, the ARSO agency predicts predominantly sunny, warm weather with daytime highs between 28 °C and 33 °C. Towards the end of the week, the chance of local showers and thunderstorms will increase, with possible heavy rain, strong gusts and even hail warnings in certain regions.

Both countries can expect a brief cooling phase early in the week, followed by a sustained period of warm, mostly dry weather, offering favorable conditions for outdoor activities but also a heightened risk of heat‑related discomfort.
