Czech Republic promotes new cycling and hiking trails in Haná and Bohemian Forest

Tourism officials in the Czech Republic are highlighting a range of new and existing outdoor routes to attract visitors. A newly opened cycling trail in the Haná region offers scenic routes through historic landscapes and local gastronomy.

In the UNESCO‑listed Lednice‑Valtice Cultural Landscape, the baroque estates continue to draw tourists with guided tours of the castles, a 260‑metre minaret and various accommodation options ranging from campsites to luxury hotels.

The Poličsko area is promoted as a film‑heritage destination, encouraging cyclists to visit locations where notable Czech actors once rested.

Long‑distance hiking trails such as the Zlatá stezka and Vintířova stezka traverse the Český les, Šumavu and the Czech‑Bavarian border, combining natural scenery with historic sites, including Kašperk Castle and the legacy of Saint Vintíř. The routes are marketed for both physical activity and mental well‑being.
