Czech Republic plans business mission for Ukraine reconstruction

Czech Industry and Trade Minister Karel Havlíček is preparing a special business mission to Ukraine to involve Czech companies in the reconstruction of the country's infrastructure. Following a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the initiative aims to modernize Ukraine's energy sector and strengthen its resilience ahead of the upcoming winter.

Ukraine has already received 35 shipments of energy equipment provided by six different Czech donors. Prime Minister Shmyhal expressed strong interest in Czech companies participating in the modernization of the energy grid and implementing joint projects.

Additionally, the Czech Ministry of Defense has noted that participation in international coalitions regarding Ukraine offers strategic benefits, including the transfer of battlefield experience to the Czech Army and opportunities for the domestic defense industry to participate in Ukraine's reconstruction efforts.
