Autumn travel trends show rising interest in off-season trips

Travel trends indicate a growing preference for off-season and autumn travel across Central and Southern Europe. In the Czech Republic, travelers are increasingly opting for autumn holidays to benefit from lower prices, which can be up to 30 percent cheaper than during the peak summer season. Popular destinations for Czech tourists include Greece, Spain, and Egypt, with rising interest in exotic locations like Zanzibar and Cambodia via new direct flights.

Similarly, Slovenian tourists are increasingly traveling abroad during the off-season to avoid crowds. While Croatia remains the top choice for Slovenians, other frequent destinations include Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, and Austria.

Cultural tourism also remains a draw, with destinations like Basel, Switzerland, offering significant art exhibitions in the autumn, and Ghent, Belgium, reopening its Design Museum in October.
