Czárán Gyula memorial hiking tour to be held in Rév

The XIX Czárán Gyula memorial performance hiking tour is scheduled to take place on October 10 in Rév. The event is organized for nature enthusiasts and experienced hikers looking for a challenge.

Participants can choose from three different distances: 7, 16, or 25 kilometers. The route follows marked hiking trails through the Királyerdő area and the Sebes-Körös gorge. To complete the challenge, hikers must reach designated checkpoints within a set time limit.

Organizers provide participants with a booklet containing maps, route details, and elevation changes. Checkpoints offer refreshments such as bread with fat or jam, as well as sweets. Those who reach the finish line in Rév will receive a souvenir and a warm meal. Due to rocky terrain and steep climbs, the organizers recommend proper hiking boots and layered clothing. Registration is available only on-site at the start/finish point for a fee of 60 lei per person.
