Łódź Summer Festival 2026 launches free night‑train service and new Elf commuter trains for city’s 603rd birthday

The Łódź Summer Festival 2026, timed to celebrate the city’s 603 year anniversary, will run from 24 to 26 July across the mBank Stage and the Łódź Stage on the city’s Błonia. Organisers have released the full line‑up, featuring international acts such as Bastille, Timbaland, Sean Paul and Polish stars including Mata, Bedoes 2115 and Dawid Kwiatkowski.

To facilitate safe, late‑night returns, Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna (ŁKA) will operate extra night trains each festival night. Departures from Łódź Kaliska and Retkinia run at 03:06 on Saturday, 03:06 on Sunday and 01:56 on Monday, with all journeys within the Łódź metropolitan area offered free of charge. In parallel, new PESA Elf 3.0 electric multiple units begin service on 22 July, providing additional capacity on regional routes to Skierniewice, Koluszki and other towns. The Elf launch includes free rides, live music, food stalls and souvenir tickets, marking a €0.5 billion investment in regional rail.

Both the festival programme and the expanded transport options aim to attract thousands of residents and visitors while minimizing traffic congestion and promoting public‑transport use during one of Poland’s largest free‑entry cultural gatherings.
