Poland summer festivals July-Aug 2026: Season conclusion
Overview
As the summer season drew to a close in late August 2026, Poland’s cultural landscape transitioned into a variety of end-of-season festivals and recreational activities. In Opole, the 17th Opole Festival of Flavors continued to feature regional products and musical performances. Other regional activities included a kayaking cleanup on the Dłubnia river in Kraków, cycling trips in the Kłodzka Valley, and the Tomato Festival in Kotlin.
In Kielce, the ‘Magiczne Zakończenie Wakacji’ festival at Amfiteatr Kadzielnia provided major musical highlights. Notable performances included Polish singer Doda, who performed ‘Pamiętnik’ and a French-language duet of ‘Sous le vent’ with Canadian vocalist Garou, as well as a performance by Julia Wieniawa. The VII edition of the ‘Chopinowskie Inspiracje’ series also concluded with a concert in the Italian Garden, supported by the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship local government. Additionally, Michał Szpak was named a contest winner during these festivities.
Other late-August developments included outdoor cinema screenings at Centrum Kultury Podgórza and extended ‘Summer Nights’ hours at Majaland theme parks in Warsaw, Kownaty, and Gdańsk. In Warsaw’s Ochota district, community engagement included a Silent Disco in Park Pięciu Sióstr.
