Da Nang Approves 3.73 trillion VND Investment in VSIP Industrial Park

The Da Nang People's Committee issued Decision 3276/QD‑UBND on 25 July, approving the investment policy and appointing the joint‑venture Vietnam‑Singapore Industrial Park Company Ltd. as the investor for a new VSIP industrial park in the Điện Bàn Bắc ward. The project covers roughly 250 ha and is slated for a total capital outlay of 3.73 trillion VND (about US$138 million) over a 50‑year operating period.

The investment timeline sets out preparation and legal work in Q2 2026–Q3 2027, land compensation and hand‑over in Q4 2026–Q2 2028, followed by basic construction and commissioning from Q3 2027 to Q4 2031, with marketing and tenant attraction expected to begin in Q3 2028. The investor will receive land‑lease incentives subject to compliance with environmental, fire‑safety, labour and security requirements, and must provide a performance guarantee.

The approval process, completed in 57 days, was highlighted as unusually rapid for an infrastructure project of this scale.
