Da Nang finalises administrative framework for its free‑trade zone

Da Nang has completed the specific administrative procedures for its Free Trade Zone (FTZ). The People's Committee of Da Nang signed Decision No. 3157/QD‑UBND, which revises and adds 34 import‑export procedures to create a coherent “one‑stop shop” system. The changes aim to lower costs, increase transparency and improve the business climate for investment, production, logistics, trade, services, tourism and high‑value‑added sectors.

The FTZ covers about 1,881 hectares across several non‑contiguous sites and includes functional zones for manufacturing, logistics, digital technologies and innovation. In June 2026 the city approved investment certificates for three infrastructure projects (FTZ 2, 3 and 4) spanning roughly 910 hectares with a total investment of over VND 15,025 billion. An earlier FTZ 5 project also contributes to the overall development.

Officials say the new administrative framework will streamline project implementation at all stages, boost competitiveness and attract high‑quality investment to Da Nang.
