Vietnam is holding various commemorative activities to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Huỳnh Thúc Kháng, a prominent patriot, journalist, and former Acting President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

In Da Nang, authorities officially inaugurated a project to enhance the value of the Huỳnh Thúc Kháng Memorial House in Thanh Binh commune. The project, with a total investment of approximately 56.6 billion VND funded by central and municipal budgets, covers 3.43 hectares. The renovation includes restoring the main worship house, reconstructing traditional buildings, upgrading local roads, and developing landscape areas such as parks and parking lots to serve as a cultural and historical destination.

Simultaneously, a scientific workshop was held in Thai Nguyen to research and clarify the legacy of Huỳnh Thúc Kháng, specifically focusing on his journalistic contributions and the historical value of the Tiếng Dân newspaper. These efforts aim to preserve his heritage and provide educational spaces for future generations to learn about his patriotism and professional ethics.
