Da Nang International Airport to undergo 10 trillion VND expansion

Da Nang International Airport will undergo a major expansion project with a total investment exceeding 10,106 billion VND. The project, announced by the Da Nang People's Committee and the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), consists of two primary components: the renovation and expansion of the T1 passenger terminal and the first phase of aircraft apron expansion.

The T1 terminal expansion, valued at over 9,936 billion VND, is scheduled to begin construction in August 2027. Once operational in early 2029, the terminal is expected to reach a capacity of approximately 14 million passengers per year with a total floor area of 96,000 square meters. The project also includes synchronized investments in access transport systems and technical infrastructure.

Additionally, the first phase of the aircraft apron expansion will require an investment of over 170 billion VND. This phase aims to add six Code C aircraft parking positions and is expected to be operational by July 2027. The expansion is intended to meet increasing travel demands and enhance Da Nang's connectivity to both domestic and international markets.
