Da Nang International Fireworks Festival lights Han River with Vietnam‑France showdown

On the night of 6 June, the second competition of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 took place on the Han River. The contest featured Vietnam’s runner‑up team Z121 Vina Pyrotech facing newcomer French team Lux Factory POK 2.0 under the “Heritage” theme. The French display highlighted Da Nang’s cultural legacy with cinematic effects, while the Vietnamese team incorporated national symbols such as a palm‑tree motif. Thousands of spectators watched multi‑coloured titanium fireworks, falling glitter, and water‑jet sparkles fill the sky, accompanied by the song “Nối vòng tay lớn”. The event celebrated cultural exchange and drew enthusiastic applause from the crowd.
