Da Nang launches Go Global program to support international business expansion

The Da Nang People's Committee has issued Decision 4140/QD-UBND, establishing the ‘Da Nang Go Global’ program for the 2026–2030 period. The initiative aims to enhance the international investment and business capabilities of local enterprises, increase their presence in foreign markets, and facilitate deeper integration into regional and global value chains.

By 2030, the city targets supporting at least 60 enterprises with training in global business and investment, providing consultancy to 15 companies for international market entry, and assisting at least five businesses in establishing overseas offices or commercial presences.

Unlike traditional export promotion that focuses on trade fairs, this program emphasizes long-term market stability. It addresses critical challenges for small and medium-sized enterprises, such as product standards, intellectual property, international logistics, taxation, and brand building. Priority sectors include manufacturing and processing industries, such as electronics.
