Hanoi Police dismantle major illegal cosmetic medical product ring

Hanoi Police have dismantled a major illegal ring specializing in the production and distribution of unauthorized cosmetic medical products. The operation, led by Trần Minh Đức, involved the unauthorized repackaging and labeling of medical supplies used in aesthetic procedures.

Following urgent searches of 12 locations in Hanoi and one in Ho Chi Minh City, authorities seized 122,972 products, including filler, botox, meso, and anesthetics. The investigation revealed that the group purchased both finished goods and raw materials without proper labeling, which were then repackaged and distributed through various warehouses.

Between 2025 and August 2026, the group reportedly traded millions of products, generating an estimated revenue of over 500 billion VND. The seized goods are valued at more than 74 billion VND, and the ring has already secured billions in illicit profits.
