Illegal cosmetic medical product ring in Hanoi

Overview

Hanoi police dismantled a major illegal ring led by Trần Minh Đức that specialized in the production and distribution of unauthorized cosmetic medical products. The operation involved the unauthorized repackaging and labeling of medical supplies used in aesthetic procedures, such as filler, botox, meso, and anesthetics.

Following searches of 12 locations in Hanoi and one in Ho Chi Minh City, authorities seized over 122,000 products valued at more than 74 billion VND. Investigations indicate the group traded millions of products between 2025 and August 2026, generating an estimated revenue exceeding 500 billion VND.
