Vietnam police arrest multiple suspects in various theft and crime cases

Police in Vietnam have arrested several individuals involved in various criminal activities across different provinces.

In Ninh Bình, Bùi Huy Tú was apprehended in Gia Lai after smashing a car window to steal an LV handbag containing nearly 700 million VND and personal documents. Tú, who has prior criminal records for theft and drug possession, reportedly used part of the stolen funds for online gambling.

In Thanh Hóa, Mai Văn Chỉ, a delivery driver, was detained for breaking into a residence and stealing 31 gold rings and cash valued at over 200 million VND. In Ho Chi Minh City, Đinh Viết Hoàng was arrested for snatching an iPhone 14 Pro Max from two women on a motorbike.

Other notable incidents include a group of teenagers in Huế being investigated for driving recklessly with weapons, and a student in Nghệ An being fined 13.5 million VND for spreading false information regarding bribery in driving exams. Additionally, in Vĩnh Long, police dismantled a drug gathering spot, seizing Ketamine and weapons, and identifying a suspect who was already wanted for drug trafficking.
