Da Nang Police awarded People's Armed Forces Hero title

On August 25, the Da Nang City Police were officially awarded the title of ‘People's Armed Forces Hero’. The honor recognizes the contributions, sacrifices, and achievements of generations of officers over the past 81 years.

During the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc emphasized that Da Nang holds a strategic position for national defense and security. Since its formation during the August Revolution in 1945, the Da Nang Police force has played a vital role in protecting the government and revolutionary achievements through various historical periods, including the resistance wars against French and American forces.

In the modern era, the force has continued to serve as a core element in maintaining national security, social order, and fighting crime to support the city's socio-economic development. The award serves as a formal recognition of the force's loyalty and dedication to the country and the people.
