Dacia Duster gains performance and comfort boost from CMF‑B platform

The latest generation Dacia Duster is built on Renault Group’s CMF‑B modular platform, previously used on the Sandero and Jogger. The architecture allows a larger cabin without increasing the 4.34 m overall length, offering more passenger and luggage space while keeping the SUV compact.

Dynamic improvements include stiffer anti‑roll bars that cut body roll by about 21 % in the two‑wheel‑drive version and 17 % in the 4×4 model, refined suspension damping, revised steering ratios and new tyre specifications, all contributing to more precise handling. Acoustic treatment reduces rolling noise by roughly 2 dB, making the interior quieter. The platform also supports electrified powertrains: a mild‑hybrid option, a 155 hp full‑hybrid, and the Hybrid‑G 150 4×4, which pairs a mild‑hybrid LPG engine with a rear electric motor for all‑wheel drive.
