Dacia expands hybrid lineup with new Hybrid 155 technology

Dacia is expanding its electrified lineup by introducing the Hybrid 155 system to the Sandero Streetway and Jogger models. This full hybrid technology utilizes a 1.8-liter four-cylinder petrol engine producing 109 CV, paired with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery.

The system features an electrified multi-mode automatic transmission designed to optimize efficiency. In urban driving conditions, the vehicles can operate in electric mode for up to 80% of the time. The Sandero Streetway Hybrid 155 targets fuel consumption as low as 4.2 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of approximately 96 g/km, representing a potential 40% reduction in consumption compared to equivalent petrol engines.

The Jogger variant offers a maximum torque of 205 Nm and is available in both five and seven-seat configurations. It features a WLTP mixed cycle consumption of 4.5 l/100 km and a top speed of 180 km/h. This new Hybrid 155 powertrain improves upon the previous Hybrid 140 version, reducing emissions and fuel consumption by approximately 10%.
