Dacia expands hybrid technology across its entire vehicle lineup
Dacia is expanding its hybrid technology across its entire vehicle lineup to maintain competitiveness and reduce emissions while adhering to its core philosophy of affordable, practical vehicles. This expansion includes two new engine options developed and manufactured in Spain.
The Sandero hybrid 155 will arrive in dealerships during the final quarter of the year, starting at a price below 20,000 euros. This system combines a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with two electric motors to produce 155 CV. It features an automatic transmission without a clutch and a battery that recovers energy during braking and deceleration. The manufacturer claims the model can operate in electric mode for up to 80% of the time during urban driving, with an average consumption of 4.2 l/100 km.
Additionally, Dacia is introducing the tribrid 150 4x4 powertrain, available for the Duster starting at 27,790 euros and the Bigster from 30,890 euros. This unique system utilizes three energy sources: electricity, gasoline, and LPG. The configuration includes a thermal engine paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while an electric motor connected to the rear axle provides four-wheel drive capability.
