Dacia launches Striker crossover priced under €27,000
Dacia introduced the Striker, a new C‑segment crossover that blends SUV ride height, station‑wagon versatility and sedan efficiency. The model is offered with two electrified powertrains – a 1.8‑litre mild‑hybrid (Hybrid 155) and a 1.2‑litre mild‑hybrid paired with a rear electric motor (Hybrid 150 4×4) – both targeted at CO₂ emissions below 100 g/km. Pricing starts below €27,000 (around R$ 185 k), with a cargo capacity of up to 600 litres.
Production will take place at Renault’s Oyak plant in Bursa, Turkey, with exports to European markets slated for launch in autumn 2026. The Striker features a 4.62‑metre length, 1.53‑metre height, a digital LightVisio instrument panel, a 10.1‑inch multimedia screen and extensive use of recycled materials (over 30 % of the vehicle’s mass). Dacia positions the Striker as a cost‑effective alternative to pricier SUVs and kombis, aiming to boost its share of the European C‑segment to 33 % by 2030.
