Dacia launches Striker crossover as Kia Stonic priced at €28,669 in Spain

Dacia has unveiled the Striker, a new large-family crossover slated for 2026. Measuring 4.62 m long with a 20 cm ground clearance in all‑wheel‑drive versions, the Striker blends sedan practicality with SUV styling, features a LED T‑shaped light signature and a drag coefficient of 0.29, positioning it against the Skoda Octavia Combi in the spacious wagon segment.

Kia announced its Stonic model for the Spanish market at a base price of €28,669. The vehicle comes equipped with standard LED headlights, rain‑sensing wipers, a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1‑inch touchscreen, keyless entry and start, and a hybrid‑light gasoline three‑cylinder engine delivering 115 hp and 172 Nm. Official fuel consumption is 5.7 L/100 km, with a top speed just over 180 km/h and a six‑speed manual gearbox.

Both manufacturers highlight extensive equipment and competitive pricing to challenge established rivals in the compact SUV and family‑car segments.
