Dacia unveils Striker crossover at Paris Motor Show
Dacia has officially unveiled its new crossover, the Striker, at the Paris Motor Show. The model is designed to bridge the gap between a station wagon, a sedan, and an SUV, targeting the competitive C-segment. Measuring 4.62 meters in length, the Striker is the longest model in Dacia’s history, surpassing the Bigster.
The vehicle is positioned to compete with established models like the Skoda Octavia Combi and Volkswagen Golf Variant. Dacia aims to increase its market share in the C-segment from 20% to 33% by 2030 through this launch. The Striker offers various electrified powertrain options, including mild hybrids with LPG, full hybrids, and all-wheel-drive variants.
Pricing varies by region. In the Czech Republic, the base Essential trim starts at approximately 499,900 CZK (around 20,000 euros). In Poland, entry-level prices are reported around 92,900 PLN. The vehicle features a modular interior, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and a cargo capacity of up to 600 liters. Production is slated to take place at the OYAK Renault plant in Turkey, serving as a global manufacturing hub for the model.
