Dacia launches Sandero Hybrid 155 orders in Romania

Dacia has officially opened orders for the new Sandero Hybrid 155 in Romania, marking the first time an electrified version of the popular model is available. The hybrid powertrain combines a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine (109 hp) with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery, delivering a total output of 155 hp and 170 Nm of torque. The system uses an electrified automatic gearbox without a traditional clutch, allowing for up to 80% electric driving in urban environments.

In Romania, the Sandero Hybrid 155 starts at 19,700 euros for the Expression trim and 20,700 euros for the Journey trim. Special August promotions through Dacia Credit can lower these prices to 18,740 euros and 19,540 euros, respectively. The Journey trim includes additional features such as automatic climate control, hands-free access, a rearview camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Beyond the Sandero, Dacia is also introducing a unique Hybrid-G 150 4x4 variant for the Duster, which combines a bivalent gasoline/LPG engine with an electric motor on the rear axle. This model aims to provide all-wheel drive capabilities through electrification. Despite some production transitions and a slight decrease in overall sales volume compared to 2025, the Sandero remains a leading model in the European automotive market.
