Dacia Sandero maintains European sales leadership

The Dacia Sandero has emerged as the most popular car for private buyers in Europe since 2017. According to market research firm Jato Dynamics, the model led sales in 2024 due to its affordable pricing and focus on essential, robust features.

In France, the Sandero has been the best-selling model for private individuals across all segments for a decade. Production for the model, along with the Jogger and Renault Express, takes place at the Renault-Dacia plant in Tangier, Morocco. This facility is the largest automotive factory in Africa, employing 7,500 people and producing 380,000 vehicles annually for export to more than 60 countries.
