Dacia expands 10‑year warranty and readies Bigster family SUV
Dacia announced a limited‑time extension of its warranty program, allowing owners of vehicles registered since 2017 to increase coverage to 10 years or 200,000 km provided they keep up with official servicing. The offer runs until 31 March 2027 and is transferable to subsequent owners, aiming to boost resale value and customer confidence. The promotion is being rolled out across Europe, with notable uptake in Spain where more than 150,000 drivers have already activated the earlier seven‑year Zen plan.
In parallel, Dacia unveiled the Bigster, a new midsize family SUV positioned as a larger, more practical alternative to the Duster. The model measures about 4.57 m in length and offers a roomy cargo area, mild‑hybrid and full‑hybrid powertrains, and an optional all‑wheel‑drive version. Pricing starts around €23 000 in Romania and roughly £25 200 in the United Kingdom, emphasizing Dacia’s strategy of delivering spacious, well‑equipped vehicles at a lower price point than established competitors such as the Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage or Volkswagen Tiguan.
