Dacia Spring Redesign and Toyota Aygo X Hybrid Reveal Boost Czech Compact Car Lineup

A leaked image shows the next‑generation Dacia Spring with an updated exterior, including rounded wheel arches, a simplified grille and fewer plastic trim pieces. The model will share its technical basis with the Renault Twingo Electric, be produced in Europe, and is expected to launch at the Paris motor show this autumn with a price near 440,000 CZK.

Toyota has introduced an updated Aygo X built on the same Kolín factory line as the Yaris. The compact hatchback now carries a hybrid powertrain that raises output by about 44 hp, cuts fuel consumption to roughly 3.5 L/100 km and lowers CO₂ emissions to 85 g/km. The car features a revised front design, LED lights, a larger grille, and optional GR Sport equipment, a fabric roof and a 10.5‑inch infotainment system. Pricing starts around 400,000 CZK, reflecting the added hybrid technology.
