Dacia launches Striker crossover priced under €25,000

Dacia has introduced the Striker, a new large crossover built on the Renault CMF‑B platform and assembled in Bursa, Turkey. Measuring 4.62 m long, 1.53 m high and offering a 600‑litre boot, the model blends SUV ground‑clearance with family‑car space.

Four power‑train options are planned, including a 1.2‑litre mild‑hybrid‑G 140 with front‑wheel drive, a 150 hp hybrid 4×4 and a 155 hp plug‑in hybrid. Prices start below €25,000, with some markets quoting as low as €13,000 for basic versions.

Inside, the Striker features a 10.1‑inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a LightVision digital instrument cluster, and the modular YouClip system for accessories. Safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane‑keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and an Autohold hand‑brake. Design cues such as T‑shaped LED headlights and a black horizontal strip give it a premium look.

The model will be launched after the Paris Motor Show 2026, targeting the European market with trims named Essential, Expression, Extreme and Journey.
