Daegu's Dalseo‑gu and Seoul's Seodaemun‑gu launch new local government initiatives

Dalseo‑gu district chief Kim Yong‑pan announced a plan to merge small, low‑impact festivals and create a flagship event called “Mureungdowon Festa” at the Moonlight waterfront park, part of a broader agenda to boost resident happiness and promote economic and cultural development in the district. The initiative is linked to other projects such as the DS‑Valley industrial‑zone transformation and the upcoming Daegu city administration building.

Seodaemun‑gu mayor Park Un‑gi unveiled the visual design for the district’s ninth‑term slogan, “Everyone creates Seodaemun’s golden age – a rebooting Seodaemun, opening the future together.” The design uses six colour‑coded values—nature and climate, inclusion, education, participation, communication, and future growth—to convey the district’s policy direction and will be applied across official documents and public facilities.
