Daewoo E&C partners with Urban Agency for Mokdong Complex 8 design

Daewoo E&C is collaborating with the Denmark-based global design group Urban Agency to develop the landmark exterior design for the Mokdong Complex 8 reconstruction project in Seoul, South Korea.

The proposed design concept is titled ‘Infinite Prism,’ which aims to reflect the diverse values of the Mokdong area and the lifestyles of residents through architectural forms that expand light into a spectrum. To achieve an integrated landmark design, Daewoo E&C is assembling a team of international specialists: the UK-based engineering firm ARUP for structural design, the New York-based Supermass Studio for landscaping, and Urban Agency for the exterior architecture.

Representatives from both Daewoo E&C and Urban Agency recently conducted a site visit to Mokdong Complex 8 to analyze the local environment and urban context, ensuring the design aligns with the site's unique spatial characteristics and skyline potential.
