Dafne Rebaudo's Death in Rome's Tor Bella Monaca Alleged Femicidal Push
On the night of 13 July 2026, 31‑year‑old Dafne Rebaudo fell from a balcony in the Tor Bella Monaca district of Rome. Neighbours reported hearing a single thud followed by complete silence, leading many to believe she was already unconscious or dead at the moment of the fall. The building, located on Via dell’Archeologia, is surrounded by scaffolding from a PNRR‑funded construction project and has been described as chaotic, with reports of drug‑related activity.
Police investigations have shifted from a possible suicide to an alleged homicide. Investigators say Rebaudo’s partner, Tunisian national Mohamed Trabelsi, pushed her during an argument, and he has been arrested on a femicide charge. Rebaudo’s mother, Laura, has publicly demanded that the case be pursued to full justice, emphasizing that her daughter’s drug problems should not excuse a violent act.
