Daimler Truck Mexico unveils AI‑driven service platform at national transport forum

At the XXVI National Forum of Freight Transport organised by the ANTP, Daimler Truck Mexico detailed a digitalisation strategy for its after‑sales network. The plan includes the Excelerator Parts platform that uses algorithms to predict parts demand nationwide, the Enlace Freightliner 3.0 telematics suite with AI‑powered cameras, voice‑authenticating calls and meta‑alerts to warn of risky driving, and a training programme for technicians and drivers. The initiative aims to keep customer trucks operating longer and reduce the need for supervisory staff.

In the same event, International Motors Mexico launched the My International connectivity platform. The cloud‑based system offers real‑time fleet monitoring, remote diagnostics, fuel‑reporting and the ability to unlock trucks remotely, promising lower operating costs and minimal downtime. Executives highlighted the platform’s role in restoring market leadership by providing an integrated suite of services that supports vehicle renewal and overall productivity.

Both companies presented the solutions as ways to strengthen their positions in Mexico’s cargo‑transport sector through technology, improved parts availability and enhanced driver safety.
